ETSI TC DATA Kick-off Meeting

From April 15 to 17, 2025, the TID team participated in the kick-off meeting of the new ETSI TC DATA group, held at ETSI headquarters in Sophia-Antipolis, France. The TC DATA standardization group was conceived to tackle aspects in data management such as semantic interoperability, data governance, and data infrastructures, which are key to realizing European Trusted Data Framework.

This marks a milestone in the standardization efforts of the TID team in cPAID, after leading the creation of the group from its inception to its approval. These efforts were recognized during the meeting by appointing Dr. Diego Lopez from TID as group chair.

Additionally, during this meeting, the TID team shared their ideas around the development of the Data Fabric of the cPAID platform: a novel data infrastructure architecture that leverages knowledge graphs and semantic web technologies. In this sense, the Data Fabric plays a core role in cPAID by enabling interoperable exchange of data for the protection of AI applications against cyber-attacks.
