On 27 May 2025, Vaios Bolgouras from Unisystems participated in Webinar #1 of the BRIGHT MINDS AI Summer Camp, where he presented the vision and goals of the cPAID project.
During his presentation, Vaios introduced cPAID’s mission to develop a cloud-based, platform-agnostic defense framework for protecting AI systems from adversarial threats. The discussion highlighted how cPAID integrates advanced technologies including:
- XAI (Explainable AI)
- Generative AI
- Security- and privacy-by-design approaches
- Threat intelligence and context-aware defense mechanisms
The presentation outlined how cPAID aims to:
- Tackle poisoning and evasion attacks on AI
- Enable continuous risk assessment
- Guarantee robustness and transparency in AI pipelines
- Ensure alignment with EU principles on AI ethics
The session sparked an engaging exchange between Vaios and the audience, focusing on the evolving cybersecurity landscape and how AI can be both a target and a tool for enhancing organizational cyber resilience.
