Chania, Crete June 4–6, 2025 The 6th International Conference on Electronic Engineering and Information Technology (EEITE 2025) featured a well-received Special Session titled “CYPHER – Cybersecurity for Yielding Protection in Hyperconnected Ecosystems and Resilience.” The session explored cutting-edge topics in cybersecurity, AI-driven threat detection, and the design of resilient digital infrastructures.
cPAID partner Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) took part in the session, contributing insights into key areas such as post-quantum cryptography and secure systems. HMU’s active participation further demonstrated its ongoing commitment to cybersecurity research and collaboration at the European level.
The session was supported by several EU-funded projects, including cPAID, which backed the event thematically through its focus on secure and intelligent digital ecosystems.
“We were pleased to contribute to the dialogue on securing complex, interconnected systems,” noted the HMU team. “Participation in events like EEITE allows us to align our research with real-world challenges—many of which intersect with the mission of projects like cPAID.”
The event fostered meaningful exchanges among researchers, with a strong emphasis on practical innovation, academic collaboration, and future-ready cybersecurity strategies.
