Christos Xenakis from InQbit Innovations SRL participated as a speaker at the 11th Ship IT Conference 2025, organised by BOUSSIAS, following an invitation to contribute to discussions on contemporary cybersecurity challenges in the maritime and IT sectors. During the conference, Christos Xenakis took part in an engaging discussion on the NIS2 Directive, focusing on the evolving cyber threat landscape and the new security requirements emerging in the context of AI-enabled systems. As part of his contribution, Christos Xenakis also presented the cPAID project, outlining its objectives and research activities aimed at strengthening cybersecurity, trust, and resilience in complex digital infrastructures.
The session fostered a constructive exchange of views among participants, highlighting the growing importance of regulatory compliance, risk management, and innovation in addressing cybersecurity challenges across critical sectors.
